I studied Mathematics at Humboldt-Universität Berlin and worked at Universität Göttingen, Universität Kaiserslautern, Universität Bayreuth and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater before I came to Mary Immaculate College in Limerick.

Number theory is a foundational branch of mathematics. This module gives the student a solid grounding in the subject.

Mathematical Problem Solving

This is an elective module for final year BEd students. The main emphasis is on understanding the process of problem solving in its dynamic and cyclic nature. Participants will have the opportunity to build up their own experience in solving mathematical problems.
